POSITION SUMMARY: This production cook is passionate about our cuisine, customer service and pays attention to detail. This person is familiar with large-batch volume cooking based off recipes and instructions. Must be familiar with a variety of measuring methods in volume and weight.

THIS IS A MORNING POSITION. Estimated working hours are 8AM-2:30PM.

Duties & Responsibilities

The functions and areas of responsibilities include:

  • Maintains a cheerful, disposition and a neat, clean and professional image
  • With minimal assistance, be able to operate basic commercial kitchen equipment such as a slicer, oven, fryer and food processor
  • Follow recipes using a variety of measurements
  • Operates, maintains and properly cleans kitchen equipment
  • Maintains and cleans their required tools and equipment
  • Works efficiently with a constant sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • Able to work a flexible schedule as business dictates
  • Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Food Handler Certification required or must be able to be obtained upon hiring
  • Ability to handle stress under pressure and high levels of business
  • Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision while following recipes and build sheets
  • Bilingual a plus!

Work Environment

  • Ability to be flexible with job demands and open minded when being asked to complete tasks
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant
  • Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant generally weighing 0-50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day in a hot environment
