We're looking for an energetic, reliable, and skilled Cook to join our team at our upscale fast-casual restaurant and expanding mobile catering food truck operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure, and wants to grow with a company that is rapidly expanding in both restaurant service and catered events.
Whether you're preparing signature menu items in our restaurant or serving guests at weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties from our food truck, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food preparation, portioning, and inventory management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food truck workstations
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Support restaurant operations during daily service
Assist with food truck setup, service, and breakdown at catering events
Work efficiently during high-volume lunch, dinner, and event service
Help maintain a positive and professional team environment
Qualifications
Previous cook, line cook, prep cook, or kitchen experience preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Food truck or catering experience is a plus but not required
