Lead a motivated kitchen team to prepare dishes for our customers and provide not only the best wine but food pairing they can experience.
The Wine Bar Kitchen Lead is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the timely preparation and execution of recipes for as designed by the Chef de Cuisine. The Kitchen Lead is responsible for assisting in the motivation, training, and organization of the kitchen team, a variety of food preparation duties, maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the kitchen, and inventory check and ordering of ingredients.
This full-time (Wednesday – Sunday) non-exempt position reports to the Sous Chef (Sous) and takes direction from the Wine Bar Manager, Chef de Cuisine (CDC) and Kitchen Office Supervisor (KOS), with key interaction with members of every department.
***New staff with a hire date between July 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021 are eligible for a $600 bonus. $300 paid after 60 days of active employment (minimum of 17 shifts worked for PT and 30+hrs/week for FT) and another $300 after 120 days of active employment (minimum of 34 shifts worked for PT and 30+hrs/week for FT).
