Job Description

The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current standards, guidelines and regulations while assuring that quality dining services are provided at all times and all company policies are followed.

Full Time | 10am – 6:30pm  OR  Part Time | 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 7:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret and execute recipe required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of cooking or dining service production
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interpret instructions (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Capable of working independently or as a team
  • Creative thinking and positive attitude

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Assists in prioritizing work assignments.
  • Provides coaching to dining room staff.
  • Prepares and serves food.
  • Ensures food is presented in attractive manner.
  • Follows all guidelines and procedures when handling, preparing, serving and storing food.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of work area.
  • Promotes culture of safety.
  • Maintains food inventory and supplies.
