Are you an energetic and creative chef looking for a unique opportunity to partner in developing a legacy business? Sugar Loaf Ranch and Event Center is seeking a chef and business partner to reopen an existing restaurant space in the mountains of Mountain Center, CA. The property boasts incredible mountain views, a 20-acre property with two single-family homes, a 4,000 sqft restaurant building, and plans to build luxury yurts and domes. This is a rare chance to be part of something special, just a 15-minute drive from Palm Desert.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Menu planning and development
• Ensuring portion control and food quality
• Utilizing knife skills, grilling, and fryer techniques
• Managing back of house operations
• Food handling, preparation, and service quality

Required Skills:

• Experience in food and beverage management
• ServSafe Certified with knowledge of food safety regulations
• Proficiency in cooking, ordering, and merchandising
• Strong understanding of sanitation and baking techniques
• Ability to maintain high standards of quality of service and catering

Salary and Benefits:

The minimum salary for this position is $60,000. Additional benefits include a small 2-bedroom home on the property and profit-sharing opportunities once living expenses and lease costs are covered.
