Requirements:

Job description:

Join our team at Beaver Street Food Co. as a Line Cook! This role is essential in ensuring the preparation of food items according to established recipes and quality standards. This job is for Home Football Games with additional shifts available during the week starting in August.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Cook food items according to established recipes and specifications.
• Ensure that all food products meet quality and presentation standards before being served
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, including equipment and utensils.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment
• Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in designated containers.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to obtain a Food Handler card, if not already obtained.
• Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift and carry heavy pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
