Baker

We are hiring for a full time (~34 hours per week) experienced baker interested in all aspects of a small bakery business including production, operations, and customer service. 1+ years of experience in a bakery is required. Job time and location: This position is Tuesday-Thursday 6am-3 or 4pm and a half day Friday at our bakery in Oregon City.Start Date:As soon as possibleWhat you'll do:Morning bake off of cinnamon rolls, scones and cookiesMixing/scooping/portioning/baking: scones, quickbreads, cakes and a lot of cookiesPacking wholesale and customer ordersdish washing (we are a very small team and everyone shares in cleaning responsibilities)inventory managementOur ideal candidate:1+ years commercial bakery kitchen experienceExperience with cookie mixing/production with a floor-standing mixerAbility to lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours a dayFlexible and willing to accommodate frequently changing tasks (multitaskers who enjoy being busy are welcome)A can-do hustle attitude/you thrive on conquering tasks efficiently and strive for perfectiona self-starter, committed, hard-working, detail oriented & team playerPay: $19 + per hour DOEWe are a team that enjoys working hard, producing excellent baked goods, and connecting with our community.
