We are Hiring a Full time EVENING Line cook at our Downtown Portland Location, Monday - Friday

The Grassa line is a fun, fast paced place to work that teachesanization, speed, technique, and cleanlines. Its a blast!
About us:
The brainchild of Lardo kingpin Rick Gencarelli, Grassa pushes the concept of artisanfort food in a no-frills fashion. We make our pasta in house daily, and pair it with seasonally rotating dishes along with several classics like our barbecue pork belly mac and cheese. We take pride in our quality and technique while fostering a good working environment for our crew.
We seek candidates who will be available to begin work as soon as possible and are not just qualified, but who aremitted to upholding a strong reputation for excellent experience. We have re opened our dining rooms are able to offer consistent hours regardless of dining restrictions. We also split tips evenly between and FOH and BOH employees. We are currently interviewing for part time line cooks, with potential for more hours.
Essential job requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sense of urgency
- The drive to get better everyday
- Sincere desire to provide guests with the best possible service and experience
- Interest and pride in learning about food
- Efficient and safe work practices
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Clearmunication skills
- Being a genuine team player
- Have a willingness to learn
- Previous related experience is great, but we are willing to train the right person!
Compensation:
$17 base wage, with $4 guaranteed in tips. Tips average $4-$7/hour
