Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods, following recipes and maintaining food quality.
- Operate grilling equipment to cook meats and other items to perfection.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to sanitation guidelines and food safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking, rotating products, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operation and efficient service.
- Practice food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and storage of food items.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all items meet established standards.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with colleagues and customers.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, fostering teamwork and positivity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
- General knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Possession of a valid Food Handler's Card.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, especially during peak hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServSafe Certification.
- Experience in a deli or restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.
- Experience with inventory management.
