As a Head Chef at The Laila Lounge, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, culinary skills, and leadership abilities in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Menu planning and development to create innovative and enticing dishes
• Managing kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
• Controlling food costs and inventory to maximize profitability
• Ensuring food quality and presentation meet the highest standards
• Leading and training kitchen staff in all aspects of back-of-house operations

Required Skills:

• Experience in culinary management and banquet catering
• Strong menu development skills and knowledge of culinary arts
• Ability to manage labor and food costs effectively
• Proficiency in food preparation and fine dining techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in catering and food and beverage management
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP)
• Expertise in cooking techniques and creating unique dishes

Salary and Benefits:

The Laila Lounge offers a competitive salary range of $50,000.00 to $60,000.00, along with vacation leave and paid time off benefits.
