Pastry Chef Responsibilities:
- Design and execute dessert menus that align with the restaurants culinary style
- Lead pastry production, from plated desserts to breads, doughs, and confections
- Collaborate closely with Executive Chefs and GMs to develop seasonal offerings
- Manage ordering, inventory, costing, and production schedules
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and high standards in the pastry kitchen
- Train, mentor, and supervise the pastry team and support staff
- Contribute to special events, tasting menus, and holiday offerings
Pastry Chef Requirements:
- 3+ years of Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef experience. The ideal candidate has upscale full-service restaurant experience. However, we are also open to high-end bakery backgrounds
- Must have a volume experience of 5M or higher
- Strong foundation in classical and modern pastry techniques, including bread
- Creative, organized, and highly detail-oriented
- Excellent leadership abilities and communication skills
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and continual innovation
