Experienced Housekeeper/Cook needed in Davenport, FL Position: Housekeeper/Cook Location: Davenport, FL Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM (some flexibility available for the right candidate) Compensation: $25/hour, 30 hours per week Payroll: Paid on payroll through ADP A warm, welcoming family is seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to support the smooth running of their busy household. The ideal candidate is confident in the kitchen, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working in a home with children and pets. Responsibilities: Cooking (Lunch & Dinner): Prepare and serve simple yet delicious meals for a family of six (including four children) Comfortable preparing meals for picky eaters and adapting to children's preferences Focus on Italian and Spanish-inspired dishes, though the family enjoys variety Prep lunch and snacks upon arrival, followed by dinner prep later in the day Handle Grocery Shopping Housekeeping: Daily upkeep of a 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 5,000 sq ft home Full family laundry, including folding and putting away clothing Maintain cleanliness and order in all common areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms Regular tasks include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitizing Organization of kitchen and pantry, taking inventory of household essentials Environment: Children are home during most of the work hours, but childcare is not a responsibility Home includes two cats and one dog - must be pet-friendly and allergy-free Requirements: Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper/Cook role Enjoyment of cooking and an understanding of family-style meals Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to take initiative and work independently Comfortable in a busy, child-filled household Paid on payroll through ADP
