Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa is seeking a Production Cook to join our Banquets culinary team. This role ensures the quality production of food, adherence to recipes, portion control standards, and the presentation of all food items.
Prepare food for the assigned venue according to established standards.
Adhere to standards for preparation, portioning, cooking, and presentation of all menu items.
Ensure excellent quality of food and proper presentation.
Maintain proper portion control, adherence to recipes, and timeliness of all food products.
Prepare daily quantities of required foods as per the Chef's instructions.
Store and maintain all products properly in coolers, holding cabinets, and other areas to prevent waste and spoilage.
Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.
Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain portion control standards.
Attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food handler's certification by the appropriate regulatory agency.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
