Job Title: Line Cook

Location: Pal's at Hayden Island

Your Role as a Line Cook at Pal's

As a Line Cook, you ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring every dish is prepared with care, consistency, and efficiency. You ll collaborate with our back of the house team to deliver memorable meals while maintaining a clean andanized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare and cook menu items according to Pal s recipes and standards

-Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and equipment

-Maintain a clean,anized, and efficient workspace throughout your shift

-Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (Oregon Food Handler s Card required)

-Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

-Assist with food prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning

-Monitor food quality and freshness, rotating stock as needed

-Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

-Support dishwashing and kitchen cleanup when needed

-Being willing to occasionally do tasks not listed in this job description

We're Looking For Someone Who:

-Has prior kitchen experience (preferred but not required we ll train the right person!)

-Takes pride in their craft and pays attention to detail

-Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-Shows up on time, ready to work with a positive attitude

-Can lift up to 25 pounds

Responsabilidades Clave

Preparar y cocinar platos siguiendo las recetas y est ndares de Pal s

Abastecer y mantener tu estaci n lista con ingredientes y equipos

Mantener un espacio de trabajo limpio,anizado y seguro

Seguir todas las normas de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento

Colaborar con el equipo de cocina para un servicio fluido

Apoyar en tareas de preparaci n: picar, marinar, porcionar

Verificar la calidad y frescura de los ingredientes

Adaptarse con flexibilidad en un entorno din mico

Ayudar en el lavado de platos y limpieza general cuando se requiera

Estar dispuesto(a) a asumir tareas fuera de esta lista seg n sea necesario

Tiene experiencia previa en cocina (preferida, pero no obligatoria: entrenamos a la persona adecuada!)

Se eullece de su trabajo y presta atenci n a los detalles
