POSITION SUMMARY: The Dishwasher/Prep Cook maintains cleanliness in the Event Kitchen.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect used kitchenware from Event Kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Washes specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots)
- Stores clean dishes and equipment properly
- Sets up workstations before cooking prep begins
- Ensures there are always enough clean dishes, especially during peak hours
- Maintains cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and places orders when necessary
- Checks washing machines’ operation and promptly reports any technical/performance issues
- Removes garbage regularly
- Sanitizes the baking area, including the floor
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid US Driver’s License
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- Wednesday through Sunday
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 50 pounds.
