Job Description
Line Cook position - Part or Full-time (25 or 50 hours); Willing to train the right candidate for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation and Quality:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation
Monitor and maintain kitchen inventor
Assist with menu planning and development
Safety and Sanitation:
Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations and sanitation standards
Must have a take charge attitude; can assume head role of the kitchen in the absence of the executive chef
Knowledge of how to maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is in good working order
Skilled at communicating effectively with kitchen staff and other employe
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen; Assist with opening and closing duties
