UK & Hong Kong Restaurant Group Seeks Experienced Chef Candidates for New Chinese Cuisine Restaurant Opening
New Restaurant looking for a talented Chef with experience in an Executive Chef position. An Executive Chef with an eclectic palate and creative energy who is passionate and excited to be working with not only the best ingredients possible, but creating dishes that reflect an upscale Chinese cuisine dining experience for guests.
The position involves management of all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, staffing, scheduling, training, and shift execution. This individual will also exude pride in culinary excellence, demonstrate bold and innovative food skills, and be capable of sound, profitable management techniques. They must be a leader and able to coach and develop employees as well as develop and implement systems in a fast paced restaurant environment.
Experience in Northern Chinese Cuisine a must
Minimum of 4 years of culinary/kitchen management experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in well-rated restaurant
Must have a strong command and thorough business management skills
A passion for training and development of others
Attention to details of food quality, preparation and presentation
Influential, team oriented leadership style
Collaborate with Chef team to develop and implement new or revised menu/recipe items
Provide coaching and guidance on improving the skill set of BOH staff, and provide the staff with the appropriate tool set to perform their jobs
