Hiring Part Time Line Cook / Kitchen Lead

Must be available 3 days per week minimum. Must be reliable and punctual.

As a Line Cook or Kitchen Lead you will assist in the seamless execution of recipes, ensuring the consistent quality of dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient setup and organization. Prepare ingredients and support line cooks during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness, adhere to standards, and contribute to a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
Execute recipes and prepare food according to the established standards and recipes provided by the chefs.
Set up and stock the line to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Perform various cooking tasks, including but not limited to grilling, sauteing, frying, and baking.
Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the quality standards set by the restaurant.
Collaborate with other cooks, kitchen staff, and chefs to coordinate and time the preparation of dishes to meet service demands.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards.
Monitor and rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment to meet the demands of high-volume service.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
Product Replenishment

Requirements:
Prior experience as a line cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure collaborating with other kitchen staff and chefs.
Able to perform high-quality work unsupervised.
Willingness to perform other kitchen duties and tasks as assigned.
Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
Food Handler Certification Card
Must be able to stand continuously during an 8-hour shift.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Lift, Carry, Push, Pull at least 20 pounds.
