**Executive Chef**

. Keenans at the Pier is a casual dining Northwest restaurant committed to providing an exceptional culinary experience to our guests through innovative dishes and impeccable service. We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings.

**Job Summary:**

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, staff management, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate is a creative and passionate culinary professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and seasonal ingredients.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality in food preparation and presentation.
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to achieve budgetary goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director and Director of Sales to develop promotional strategies and special events.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the menu.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
-Reports to Food and Beverage Director

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-end restaurant.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of various culinary techniques and cuisines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative and innovative approach to menu planning and presentation.
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
