YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY:
The Chef de Cuisine with manages the kitchen staff, labor and food costs, production, quality and presentation. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervise, train, and coach kitchen staff
- Manage food production
- Support the Executive Chef with scheduling, ordering, inventory, quality, presentation
- Ensure safety and sanitation compliance
- Other duties as dictated by Executive Chef in order to run smooth operations
BACKGROUND PROFILE :
- 2+ Years experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Exec Chef for an upscale-casual or fine-dining restaurant
- Experience with upscale local or regional restaurant groups is preferred
- Able to work under pressure with ease, especially during very busy meal periods
- Display strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Loyal and passionate about service
- Local candidates highly preferred
