We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and presentation, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu items
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas
- Collaborate with the culinary team to fulfill catering orders
- Handle knives and kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Skills:
- Proficiency in food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
- Culinary background or experience in a dietary department is a plus
