We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook 5 to join our team at Park Hyatt Aviara. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on laminated doughs, bread pastries, and a variety of other baked goods. Wage Information

Hourly role \: The hourly rate for this position is $26.50.

Key Responsibilities\:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and laminated doughs, including croissants, Danish, and puff pastry.

• Measure and mix ingredients accurately to create doughs and batters.

• Follow recipes and adjust based on seasonal ingredients and availability.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Monitor and manage baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality.

• Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing products.

• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed.

• Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues.

Previous experiences in a luxury resort preferred

Must possess a professional presentation

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Highly responsible and reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.
