We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are essential.
Knowledge of catering operations is a plus, but not required.
Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.
