Catering Company seeks Full Time Baker

On Safari Foods is a full-service catering and foodservice management company with a proven record of success, serving corporate offices and private residences in Greater Seattle for weddings, private parties, company events, and more.

We are looking for a motivated baker who is passionate about food, artistic, able to multi-task, fast, accurate and organized. The candidate must be able to work independently, is flexible with the current changing landscape of foodservice, and would want to grow with us.

Duties include:
baking large and small batches of scones, cookies, muffins, brownies and bars, and specialty desserts from scratch
baking savory items including frittatas, quiches, stratas, tarts and specialty breads
baking pies, tarts and cakes
Knowledge in Vegan and Gluten Free baking, laminated doughs, custards, and decorating (cakes, cookies, etc.) is a huge plus.

Bakers hours are typically Monday through Friday, 6am-2pm, with some flexibility.

Must have some at least 3 years experience, and/or have been to culinary school.
Bachelors Degree a plus.

Pay is $22-28/hour, DOE.
