Heritage Avonlea of Olathe is currently seeking a full-time (four days a week) Cook for our Assisted Living Facility located in Olathe, KS. We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook. The Cook should possess a passion for creating exceptional meal experiences for our residents, have the ability to follow recipes, and create flavorful meals while maintaining a sanitary environment. The candidate should have previous cook experience and be able to work well on a team.
Duties include :
Preparing meals for around 45 residents.
Maintaining safe food handling practices.
Maintaining documentation when necessary.
General kitchen cooking and cleaning duties.
Ability to follow recipes and from-scratch cooking.
Ability to multi-task and prep for the next day.
Ability to prepare using portion control.
Requirements :
Serve Safe Certification preferred (will certify the right candidate).

The ideal candidate will need to be a good communicator and open to resident requests and attentive to their dietary needs.
