Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (grill, fryer, oven, etc.)

Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift

Monitor food levels and communicate with team or supervisor when supplies run low

Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking kitchen inventory

Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure food is cooked and plated properly and on time

Follow health and safety regulations and maintain kitchen cleanliness

Handle special dietary requests or modifications when needed

Participate in daily cleaning tasks and deep-cleaning rotations as scheduled

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cook or food prep worker (1+ year preferred)

Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques

Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and a team-player attitude

Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Food handler's permit (or willingness to obtain)
