FILLINGS is a new chef-driven dessert company founded by a female Marine Corps veteran and former chef from Michelin-starred and James Beard-nominated restaurants. FILLINGS launched just one month ago, so this is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a growing startup and get involved in multiple aspects of the business. If youre passionate about baking, want to build your skills, and are excited by the idea of helping grow something from the beginning, wed love to meet you.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional pastry or bread baking experience (restaurant or bakery)
  • Strong production skills with experience managing daily prep, baking schedules, and inventory
  • Ability to lead and train a small team while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production consistency
  • Ability to create, update, and follow recipe books and costing sheets
  • A working understanding of sanitation codes and DOH regulations, and commitment to maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints, multi-task, and prioritize tasks and duties
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time, labor, and food costs efficiently
  • Creativity and willingness to contribute to seasonal menu updates and R&D
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
