Alpine Air Coffee Barista/Cook/Cashier Sign in to apply Victor, ID Sign in to apply Position Summary: We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic team member to join our cafe as a Barista / Cook / Cashier . This is a dynamic, fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys great coffee, quality food, and providing warm customer service. You will be responsible for preparing espresso drinks, cooking simple food items, and handling customer transactions at the register. Key Responsibilities: Barista Duties: Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso beverages consistently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and equipment Educate customers on our coffee menu and daily specials Kitchen Duties: Cook and assemble simple food offerings (breakfast items, toast, etc.) Follow food safety standards and maintain a clean work environment Assist in prep work and inventory rotation Cashier/Front of House Duties: Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and handle cash and card transactions Ensure the front-of-house area is clean, stocked, and welcoming Qualifications: Previous experience in a coffee shop, kitchen, or customer service role preferred Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Basic food handling knowledge (Food Handler's permit a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for quality coffee, food, and service Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Working Conditions: Must be able to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail Pay rate: $15-19/hr DOE + tips, $50/week health insurance stipend, discounted Grand Targhee ski pass, shift meal during work, staff discount outside of work, and as much coffee as you can drink!
