Cook for Seniors

Seeking an experienced chef who loves to cook, serve nutritious and delicious meals in a home-like setting for seniors. We are a mid-sized assisted living community with 45-beds. Our mission is to care, honor and respect our elders by creating a safe, therapeutic and engaging environment for them, our staff and the extended community. 

We are seeking a mid-Level cook to join our team. Your role will be to prepare meals and snacks according to a set menu, follow medical diet requirements, coordinate with caregiving staff to serve meals, provide alternative selection when needed, keep kitchen clean and sanitary and in compliance with regulations - this is a full-service kitchen!

As a member of the Dining Team, you will work with Administrative Team, Activity Director and report to our Community Manager
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience in healthcare long-term care setting and the following:

• High School or GED
• Culinary training/cooking skills
• Knife Skills
• Sanitation Safety
• Portion Control

 Salary range for this position is $14.50 to 17.00 per hour. We offer the following benefits:
