Job DetailsWere seeking an experienced bread baker or baking consultant to help us develop a signature bread recipe for our upcoming fast-casual restaurant in New York City.
About the Role This is a short-term but impactful role, ideal for a highly skilled professional who can:
Refine and finalize a bread recipe weve already been working on
Ensure consistency and scalability for high-volume production
Provide clear documentation for process and ingredient ratios
Train our kitchen team on technique, timing, and baking best practices
Advise on relevant equipment and sourcing, if needed
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience in professional bread baking or recipe development
Strong understanding of dough fermentation, hydration levels, and commercial scaling
Experience working with fast-casual concepts or high-volume kitchens preferred
Available for hands-on sessions in NYC (or open to remote consultation with occasional travel)
Timeline We are aiming to test and finalize the bread over the next 46 weeks.
