We are seeking a talented and passionate Line Cook to join the Josie & Tony's culinary team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fine dining environment, has experience with Italian cuisine, and takes pride in delivering exceptional dishes to our guests.
Responsibilities
-Execute menu items with precision and consistency under the direction of the Executive Chef
-Prepare fresh pastas, sauces, and other Italian staples
-Maintain high standards of presentation, taste, and timing
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours
-Uphold strict sanitation, safety, and food handling practices
-Monitor and rotate inventory, communicating any needs to the chef or sous chef
-Assist with daily prep, receiving, and organizing ingredients
Requirements
-2+ years of line cook experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants (Italian cuisine preferred)
-Strong knife skills and knowledge of Italian cooking techniques
-Ability to stay focused and efficient under pressure
-Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
