Tartine Bakery Santa Monica's New PM Dinner Service Launching Mid-August 2025!

Tartine Bakery Santa Monica is expanding into dinner service! We're launching an Italian-inspired menu featuring our famous naturally leavened sourdough pizza crust and seasonal California ingredients. We're building an all-star PM Back of House team to bring the same warmth, quality, and hospitality we're known for into the night!

We are hiring experienced PM Line Cooks & Pizza Maker to join our team in a vibrant location. At Tartine, we craft every pizza with precision and passion, using hand-tossed dough derived from our award-winning sourdough, paired with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. We're looking for a skilled line cook and pizza maker who thrives in a high-volume environment and is ready to bring their culinary expertise to our team.

If you have 2+ years of experience as a pizza maker and are eager to create exceptional pizzas in a creative, yet professional atmosphere, we want to hear from you!

Position: PM Pizza Maker
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (DOE) + Tips + Benefits
Shift Schedule: 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Wednesday- Sunday)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are required)

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook delicious pizzas following our recipes and guidelines
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean and sanitized
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders when needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow
- Adhere to food safety standards and procedures

Experience
- Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Culinary or food service background is preferred
