Job Details Flex Mussels is looking for a sous chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate would have strong culinary skills, an upbeat personality and is passionate about food and the guest experience. Lots of opportunity to b ring creative ideas to the table, motivate, inspire the culinary team & be the chef that everyone wants to work with! Brunch experience is a must!

Responsibilities include:

Maintain the highest standards of food quality.
Supervise and direct food preparation and production.
Motivate and inspire the team.
Create daily specials and s easonal menu changes.
Take ownership of the physical space and keep it clean and nice! Managing food & labor costs
Raw protein handling, fabrication & management a plus!
Job Requirements:

Strong culinary skills and an upbeat personality.
Friendly and passionate about food and the guest experience.
At least 3 years of NYC restaurant experience preferred.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
NYC Food Handlers Certification. Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $85,000.00)
