Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Cook with a passion for creating delicious pizzas. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pizza-making techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring quality and consistency in taste and presentation.
• Utilize a range of cooking equipment, including pizza ovens, mixers, and prep stations.
• Make fresh dough from scratch and prepare various sauces and toppings.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper food safety and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during high-volume periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management, including stocking ingredients and supplies.
• Provide exceptional service to customers and be able to take special requests or modifications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role within a restaurant kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of pizza making techniques, including dough preparation and baking.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• A passion for food and continuous improvement in culinary skills.
• Food Handler's Certification is required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
