Experienced Cafe Sous Chef

ABOUT THE POSITION:
GOOD LIFE is a fast-growing juice bar & cafe with a kids play space and private events. We are NOT a traditional fry kitchen there are no stovetops or open flames. All food is cooked through automated high-end appliances: TurboChef oven, Perfect Fry, panini press, convection oven.
Your job is to:
Prep food, portion, and plate it attractively
Run small food service tickets (sliders, waffle melts, wings, sandwiches)
Operate kitchen appliances confidently no guesswork
Work clean, stay fast, move smart
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 1 year of kitchen experience (cafe, juice bar, fast casual, or catering)
Must be able to read kitchen tickets, prep, plate, and serve consistently
Must have own transportation
Must have experience with TurboChef or similar ovens
Must be clean, reliable, and fast-paced
Weekend availability is mandatory
PAY & PERKS:
$19/hr starting (30-day probation period)
$21.50/hr after 30 days based on performance
