Job DetailsBeefbar is seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, expertise in preparing high-quality meats, and the ability to maintain consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced, upscale kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to Beefbar's exacting standards
- Specialize in grilling and preparing various cuts of premium meats
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food preparation
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
- Adhere to portion control and plating standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a line cook in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
- Strong knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking techniques
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food Handlers License (strongly preferred)
