Job DetailsFILLINGS is a new chef-driven dessert company founded by a female Marine Corps veteran and former chef at Michelin-starred and James Beard-nominated restaurants. While were not launching to the public until the fall, operations are already underway making this a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a growing startup and contribute to multiple aspects of the business. If youre passionate about baking, eager to build your skills, and excited by the idea of helping grow something from the very beginning, wed love to meet you.
Requirements:
- Culinary school graduate or at least one year of professional kitchen experience
- Strong basic pastry skills (scaling, mixing, baking, production organization)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to our production techniques
- Ability to work under tight time constraints, multi-task, and prioritize tasks and duties
- Attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to maintaining a clean kitchen
- Positive, flexible attitude and interest in working in a small, hands-on team
- Strong commitment to excellence: Always do the right thing, especially when no one is looking
- Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
- A working understanding of sanitation codes and DOH regulations
