This vibrant waterfront event venue serves as a hub for creativity and connection; home to a 500-seat performing arts theater and a modern conference and banquet center. With a mission to bring people together through arts and events, this organization plays a vital role in enriching cultural, educational, and economic experiences throughout the region.
Reporting to the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager, Line Cooks support the preparation and execution of meals for a wide range of events including conferences, performances, receptions, and community gatherings. Ideal candidates bring reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Team members should be comfortable working collaboratively, following instructions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.

- Shifts vary based on event schedule
- Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
- Prepare hot and cold menu items according to event specs and standardized recipes
- Assist with buffet setup, plating, and basic prep tasks like portioning and station setup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace
- Support receiving, labeling, and proper storage of food and supplies
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
What we are looking for:
- Prior experience in a line cook or kitchen prep role preferred
- Current Washington State Food Handlers Card required
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- Dependable, professional demeanor with a collaborative spirit
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs, bending, and repetitive motion
