Full-time position All student days
Monday - Friday 7.75 hours/day
Job duties include preparing and serving food in compliance with USDA and PA state health regulations, to students in a cafeteria setting. In addition, the Cook will work closely with the kitchen manager and/or Food Service Director on menu planning, production and inventory control.
Job qualifications
Current ServSafe Certification
The ability to work collaboratively with others
School meal preparation experience
Knowledge of National School Lunch Program and its requirements
Knowledge of HACCP procedures and requirements
Proven effective communication skills
The ability to read, write, and follow directions
Wages
Support Staff Wages are determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The starting wage is $18.39 per hour.
