Maplewood is a unique restaurant located in the original Maplewood Post Office of SW
Portland. Built in 1911 this space is dedicated tomunity, integrity, customer care, quality food & beverage.
Full Time - approximately 35-40 hours
$17-18/HR base pay + TIPS d evenly between all (~additional $6-9/hr)
Line Cook w/ Prep Responsibilities:
Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooks food items by cooking methods specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness andplies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks andpletes food storage logs.
The ability to stay calm under pressure and multi-task.
Ability to relate positively and effectively with diverse people.
Self-starting and motivated work ethic with creative problem-solving skills.
MUST be available to work Friday - Sundays through close. We have events a couple times a month with a later close for those (~7-9PM).
Oregon Food Handlers
Must be able to work weekends. Assists with food running and dishes as required. s other areas close the restaurant after the kitchen has been cleaned and stocked. All other duties as assigned.
