Description
LeMans Kitchen is a vibrant and dynamic restaurant committed to providing delicious meals and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Whether you are new to cooking or have some experience, this is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing ingredients for cooking (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces).
- Follow instructions from the head chef and kitchen manager to prepare and cook menu items.
- Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Operate kitchen appliances safely and efficiently, under supervision.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the kitchen before and after shifts.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Assist in post-service cleaning and prepare for the next shift.
- Organize and rotate product and storage areas.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
- Uphold professional appearance standards and comply with dress code requirements.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimal cooking knowledge or experience; training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Schedule: Must be willing to work Monday-Friday, Saturdays as requested from, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary Description
$19.00/hour
