Hours: 32 hours per week Thursday - Sunday

Seasonal: This position aligns with our winter ski and summer bike seasons. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year

Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Responsibilities:

Join us for as a Prep Cook for our Activities department! This position is responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients. Their duties include organizing and labeling food in storage, proper food safety when prepping ingredients, must be familiar with basics of cooking, following directions and have a strong attention to detail.

Complete tasks on the supervisor's prep list in order

Label and stock ingredients on accessible shelves

Wash, chop, and sort fruits, vegetables, meats, and dry supplies

Measure and prepare ingredients for recipes

Parboil food, reduce sauces, proof dough, and start various dishes

Prepare and deliver guest orders, including "to go" items, with speed and accuracy

Use kitchen equipment safely, following nutrition and sanitation standards

Communicate professionally with associates and clients per company standards

Respond to supervisor requests for various tasks, including dishwashing and sanitizing

Report spoilage or shortages immediately

Maintain walk-in coolers per standards and refrigerate perishable foods properly

Clean workstation and follow up with supervisor for closing instructions

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience:

Previous related experience
