We are a Japanese yakitori restaurant located in the heart of Manhattans West Village, known for our authentic grilled skewers and refined dining experience. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

West Village, Manhattan, New York City

Position:

Full-Time Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant

Manage and train front- and back-of-house staff to maintain high service standards

Monitor inventory and work with suppliers to ensure quality and cost control

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Drive sales, customer satisfaction, and team performance

Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service

Handle scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks

Implement marketing strategies and build local customer engagement

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in upscale dining (preferably Japanese cuisine or yakitori)

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Fluent in English

Familiarity with NYC restaurant regulations and DOH requirements

Proficient in POS systems and basic office software

Passion for hospitality and Japanese food culture
