Responsibilities:
As a Kitchen Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that food is prepared and served efficiently, and supporting the overall success of the food service team. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead and support kitchen team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Cook on the line during service, ensuring high-quality food preparation
Manage catering orders and ensure client needs are met
Calculate inventory levels, manage ordering processes, and track stock
Create and follow recipes, ensuring consistency and quality
Assist with front-of-house operations when necessary, supporting team efforts
Grill meats, fish, and poultry to order with precision and consistency
Saute and fry menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain a strong understanding of kitchen operations, food cost, and portion control
