Food Prep and Line Cook needed

Little Skewer in Monrovia is hiring the following positions:

Food Prep / Kitchen Assistant
Job Description: The kitchen assistant is responsible for receiving, inspecting, washing, cutting, and preparing food in accordance with established standards. They must be familiar with the standard cutting sizes for all ingredients and ensure the work area is clenaed and maintained in a timely manner. Additionally, they are required to perform any other work-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Pay - $18 - $20 per hour Plus Tips

Requirements
1) Positive and professional work attitude with a strong commitment to providing service with a smile.
2) Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a responsible and detail-oriented approach.
3) Ability to stand for long periods of time and independently lift items up to 30 lbs.
4) Prior experience is preferred but not required.
5) At lease 21 years old and able to provide documentation to legally work in the United States.
6) Must complete Food Handler Certification and Sexual Harassment Training within 30 days of employment.

Line Cook Position
Job Description: The line cook is responsible for preparing dishes in accordance with plating and service standards, collaborating with other cooks to produce a variety of menu items, including but not limited to cold dishes, soups, grilled skewers, and teppanyaki dishes. Additionally, the cook is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the work area and performing any other work-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Pay - $19 - $22 per hour plus Tips
