A premier employer is looking for an experienced Cook to join their team on a short-term basis.

Responsibilities of the Cook - Short Term

Prepare hot food items and baked goods by following recipes and standardized production methods and techniques

Monitor quantity, quality, taste, and temperature of all prepared items

Suggest and help implement ways to market bake shop items in the dining room

Clean, sanitize, and maintain benches, equipment, and all work areas

Communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and/or lead people throughout department

Assist with inventory, opening/closing kitchen and dining room, and other tasks as required

Qualifications of the Cook - Short Term

High school diploma or equivalent

2 years of experience as a cook required

Formal culinary education highly preferred

Competence as a Safe Food Handler through a recognized authority

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally and stand/walk throughout shift

This Short Term Cook position will work Monday through Friday from 5:00am-1:30pm or 10:45am-7:15pm, with rotating weekend coverage, for approximately 3-6 months. Pay is $30/hour. We look forward to hearing from you!
