Cafe Cook

This position performs tasks necessary to provide quality food and quality service at a destination '10' level in our retail (café) operations and patient services.

Weekdays: Short-order cook/server for lunch, ensuring that all foods are mise en place for lunch, grab 'n go merchandise and next day breakfast. Position requires attention to detail. Prepares and serves retail menu items following portion control, recipes, and standards. Must be familiar with all the menu items offered, pricing, and equipment used in the retail areas: deli, grill, panini, speed oven, fryer, grab 'n go, hot line, salad bar, merchandisers, vending, etc.

Responsible for accurate cash handling and performing register transactions and merchandising, including available pricing information and upselling to meet café cash goals.

Maintains overall cleanliness, including general cleaning and café safety. This position does general cleaning and other duties as necessary to provide quality food and quality service.

Individual must be a team player and maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times while on duty.

Weekends: Provides food prep, quality control and preps food items for upcoming week for café. Delivery of foods to our patients in a timely manner.

Full time. Works weekdays 10:30 am - 6:30 pm and some weekends 5:45am - 1:30pm or 10:45 am - 7 pm.

Starting Range: $15.80 - $17.38
