At 18Degrees, we cultivate teams and leaders to embrace the principles ofdiversity, equity, and inclusiveness to support the needs of ourcommunity. **Job Summary** (Overall Purpose/Function of Position):Part-time Cook position (30 hours/week) will support child care programby preparing daily meals and daily operations in the kitchen,preparation of foods, delivery of foods, tracking allergens, cleaningand maintenance. Cross training for necessary coverage of operations andsupply orders, inventory during the absence of the supervisor. Asneeded, will function as a liaison to the classroom to provide enhancedcommunication and feedback to the Operations team for successful foodprogramming. Complete necessary records and documentation in systems.**Childcare Meal Coverage** - Trained to cover meals service and supportchildcare program. - Transport meals to other sites. - Cook additionalmeals service required for all school age programs during schoolbreaks. - Gain knowledge through ServSafe and CACFP trainings to allowfor oversight of food allergies and child safety. - Trained on receivingfood deliveries, including documentation & proper handling ofproducts. - Fill in for Cook/ Nutritionist Operations when taking timeoff (personal, sick & vacation). **Qualification Requirements:**Education: High School Diploma or GED, ServSafe \[Required\], AllergenAwareness Experience: Basic Kitchen experience 3 months to 1 yearMulticultural/multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
