Head Chef – Southfork Lodge

Location: Lowman, Idaho
Type: Full-Time (3.5-day on-site rotation with private room)
Compensation: Competitive salary + paid 40-hour work week + staff-wide bonus program

Now, we're looking for a Head Chef who shares our passion for great food and great people—someone who can lead our kitchen with creativity, heart, and a strong sense of place.

You are ready to shape the culinary identity of a lodge that’s as much about mountain air and river sounds as it is about huckleberries and cast-iron trout.

 

Your Role

  • Lead daily kitchen operations, menu execution, and staff mentorship
  • Build seasonal menus that reflect the region, the forest, and the guest experience
  • Develop innovative culinary experiences—think outdoor riverside dinners, family-style lodge meals, or locally foraged tasting menus
  • Collaborate closely with ownership to adapt and evolve offerings
  • Manage kitchen inventory, food costs, cleanliness, and consistency
  • Embrace and drive the lodge’s vision of warm, elevated, and adventurous hospitality
