Michael's has been offering the "ultimate Vermont dining experience" for over 20 years and is proud to provide the highest level of quality & service in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
We are a destination restaurant to some and a "regular haunt" for others, conveniently located just 5 minutes from Stowe and I- 89, within a Circa 1820 farmhouse, surrounded by acres of rolling lawns, forest & perennial gardens. The spectacular views of the Green Mountains & sunsets make Michael's a popular stop for photographers and tourists alike.
We offer award-winning European influenced farm to table cuisine. Michael’s cooking inspiration stems from his childhood--European comfort food, sustainable & unprocessed. Whenever possible, our own fruits, vegetables, herbs & flowers are utilized to complement the menu & decor. At any given time, products from at least 30 different local farms are used on the menu.
The beginning of every meal is enhanced with a warm, linen-wrapped artisan baguette, sweet butter, & marinated olives served in a dish created by a local potter.
